Mr. Hoang Nam Tien

Mr.Tien graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 1993 and joined FPT at the same year. Since then, he has always made a great contribution to the development of FPT Corporation. 

Since March 2020, Mr.Tien was appointed as the Chairman of FPT Telecom Joint-stock Company. He has made remarkable improvements and policies which help FPT Telecom stand firm through the crisis period and maintain its position as one of the leading Telecommunications company in Vietnam. 

Previously, Mr.Tien was the Chairman of FPT Software in 8 years since 2012. He had led the company to achieve a strong presence in 36 worldwide offices with 15,000+ employees; serve 600+ clients of which 100+ are Fortune 500s, become the world’s top 100 outsourcing service providers. 

During his working time in FPT, Tien had hold a number of key positions such as CEO of FPT Distribution, significantly contributed to FPT’s achievement of reaching $1B revenue in 2008; CEO and Chairman of FPT Distribution company (2003-2008); member of the Board of Management of FPT Corporation, CEO of FPT Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Development Limited Company, and CEO of FPT Real Estate Limited Company (2007 -2012). 

He has attended several business management courses at Insead, Wharton, and is currently taking doctoral degree in Japan. 

At the same time, Tien is also a favorite lecturer at FSB (FPT School of Business).
